okay so usually when i first get to the office i go to turn on the heater or a/c, when i went today the sensor lights didn't turn on and neither did the heater, weird. so then i start flicking switches. only to discover that we have no power, i text my boss but he doesn't right away. so i say i'll give him fifteen minutes to answer, if he doesn't i'll call. meanwhile i go ahead and continue perusal since the phone has reception. then these people pull up and i call andres. "no tenemos luz andres y some is about to walk in" "oh your going to have to pay it, my wallet is in one of the cars". okay, so i take care of the people who came in and as they fill out the contract, i go check the cars. nope, i check the car, singular because andres has the other key. crossing my fingers i walk up to the toyota. thank the universe his wallet is in there. anywho, the people are done with the contract i take their payment and they happily leave. okay so no i need to pay the bill, except i do not have the account user or password, struggled for a bit but i get it paid. cool. its like 10.30a right, so i call the company to let them i took care of the payment and need them to come out to reconnect our power. they tell me it could be till midnight. i call them again, they say the same thing. i was with power, without warmth for the whole day. its winter, gloomy outside. other people stop by; "oh we're just have some electricity issues, but i called and they should be sending someone out here". i was so lucky sandra was next door, cause i also had to print somethings. i did not like today. i'm ending off with doing my nails though, so tonight will be good.
update: they finally showed up at 4:57p, i left at 5:07p.
